Modern Auto Company — a Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC dealership — is seeking a Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our growing service department. We’re looking for a skilled technician who can handle a wide range of diagnostics and repairs and wants to work in a professional, team-oriented GM dealership with steady work and strong support.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide variety of mechanical and electrical issues on GM vehicles
• Perform maintenance, brake work, suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and drivability repairs
• Use GM factory diagnostic equipment and service information
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
• Perform multi-point inspections and recommend needed services
• Accurately document work performed and communicate with service advisors
• Follow GM procedures and safety standards

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level technician experience
• ASE certifications and/or GM training preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workflow
• Experience in a dealership environment preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
