Modern Auto Company — a trusted Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC dealership — is seeking a fully trained and certified Transmission Technician to join our professional service team. If you have strong experience diagnosing and repairing transmissions and want to work in a busy, well-equipped GM dealership with steady work, we want to talk with you.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild automatic and manual transmissions on GM vehicles
• Perform transmission replacements and related drivetrain repairs
• Use GM factory diagnostic equipment and service information
• Troubleshoot complex drivability and performance concerns
• Accurately document repairs and communicate with service advisors
• Maintain high quality and efficiency standards
• Follow all GM and dealership repair procedures and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Certified transmission technician (ASE and/or GM certification preferred)
• Proven experience with transmission diagnostics and repair
• GM dealership experience strongly preferred
• Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
